I have thoroughly enjoyed working closely with Macy Storage Company and Arnie Macy for nearly 25 years. After representing an active merchant-builder in multiple transactions, a new development search was initiated. We concluded that Hammond, Indiana was an underserved market. Our mutual client with Arnie personally inspected various properties. Arnie advised the client and eventually located the ideal property – a former well-known bowling alley. After months of persistence and negotiations, the site was acquired and the development commenced. Arnie’s consultation continued through design, development, asset-management, and future expansions. Collectively, we determined the ideal timing for offering the property for sale, prior to stabilization. A competitive marketing process nationwide resulted in a final sale transaction exceeding $18 million. An extraordinarily successful culmination over years of collaborative efforts.

We had the pleasure of working with Macy Storage on a self storage development in Indiana.
