Andrew Macy
Andrew joined Macy Storage Company in November 2022 as a Specialist in Brokerage and Development Services. He manages all phases of self-storage development, including site selection, market research, design, rezoning, and construction oversight.
Since joining, Andrew has helped secure six development sites under contract, including two mixed-use projects with commercial outlots. He has taken two of these through full rezoning, securing variances and complying with local PUD ordinances. He is also actively involved in structuring syndications and exploring creative capital splits to align investor interests and support project feasibility.
In addition to leading both in-house and third-party developments, Andrew prepares lender-facing financial models, optimizes site layouts, and works with management teams to enhance rate strategy, occupancy, SEO, and overall performance. He also supports the brokerage team in capital markets and buyer matchmaking for individual and portfolio assets. Jan Macy
Jan Macy is the Business and Brokerage Manager for Macy Storage Company. Since joining the company in 2016 she oversees the company’s financials, secures and manages vendors, and manages expenses. Additionally, Jan is a Project Manager for Development Projects in the Midwest, where she oversees the timeline of the projects, liaises with contractors and owners, and reviews and approves monthly construction draws.
Prior to joining Macy Storage Company, Jan had over 25 years of experience in the employee benefits industry, where she worked in executive leadership team of a regional Third-Party Administrator. She brings her expertise in sales and account management to her current role. With her strong background in business and management, Jan is a valuable asset to the Macy Storage Company team.
